Verifying website ownership

Verify website ownership with a DNS TXT record, a meta tag or a file to unlock larger crawls and uptime monitoring in SkySiteAudit.

Ownership verification unlocks larger crawls and uptime monitoring. Choose one method in Dashboard → Settings → Verification:

  • DNS TXT record on your domain: skysiteaudit-verification=<your token>.
  • Meta tag in the <head> of your homepage: <meta name="skysiteaudit-verification" content="<your token>">.
  • File at /.well-known/skysiteaudit-verification.txt containing only the token.

Then click Verify. DNS changes can take a while to propagate.
